To update the firmware of your mouse correctly, please follow this guide:

https://help.fnatic.com/support/solutions/articles/77000526559-bolt-firmware-update-guide

Attempting the firmware update on another PC may also help, if you have the possibility to do so, of course.

If that doesn’t work, please reset your mouse by holding a combination of buttons:

  • M1 + M2 + Forward Side Button + Back Side Button + DPI button
  • Plug in the mouse to a PC
  • Press and continue to hold for 5+ seconds.

Mouse LED will flash three times white with a period of 2 seconds to indicate success.

Can you please remove the OP software completely from your system and delete all files in local and roaming appdata folders named fnaticop, then do the following:

  • disable Windows ''Are you sure you wanna run this as an admin?'' prompt (or UAC?)
  • disable Windows Defender real-time
  • check and close all programs that can interfere
  • install the OP again from here: https://fnatic.com/gear/op.

After this, you should re-pair your mouse once again.

Mouse:

-Set the mouse switch to OFF

-Press & Hold: DPI Button, Scroll Wheel Button

-Connect USB Cable whilst holding the buttons

-Continue to hold the buttons for 5 seconds

-Mouse RGB will flash YELLOW (2 times per second) to indicate MOUSE is in bootloader mode

Dongle:

-Set the mouse switch to 2.4G

-Press & Hold: DPI Button, Scroll wheel Button

-Connect USB Cable whilst holding the buttons

-Continue to hold the buttons for 5 seconds

Also, restarting the PC and attempting the update again may help. You could also try unplugging other peripherals such as keyboards, webcams, other mice, etc.
