The biggest differences come down to a few key points:

- MAX mousepads use a new base which is thicker at 6mm and is made from a completely new material called PORON. The original mousepads use a thinner, natural rubber base.

- MAX mousepads have a unique orange surface color while the originals only come in black.

- FOCUS3 MAX and the original FOCUS3 use the same surface material. DASH2 MAX and the original DASH surfaces are different. DASH2 MAX’s surface is completely new.
