A 4,000Hz polling rate reduces input lag, providing faster reactions and smoother, more precise mouse movements, which benefits competitive gamers who rely on accurate aiming. This can be significantly better than the standard 1,000Hz polling rate, offering even more responsiveness and precision.

STEP 1

Open the LAMZU software and select the THORN mouse.

STEP 2

In the software window, select the icon next to the ‘HOME’ icon.

STEP 3

Under the ‘Report Rate’ section, select the 4000Hz option.

STEP 4

Select the ‘Back to Home’ icon for the change to take effect. You will hear a sound from your PC and your mouse will now use a 4,000Hz polling rate. It will remain here until you change it in the software. 

Remember that higher polling rates will consume more of the battery, faster.
