When opening the LAMZU software, you will be alerted if a new update is available for your THORN mouse or receiver. 

It is recommended, but not necessary, that you use another mouse to complete this process.

STEP 1

With the software already open, select “OK(Enter)”

STEP 2

The software will take you to the ‘Setting’ tab. From here you will update the receiver and mouse independently.

Select ‘Check Update’ for Receiver Firmware. The update will begin and a status bar will appear. Do not unplug your receiver during this time.

STEP 3

Once completed, your mouse will not function. Unplug your receiver and plug the USB-C cable into the THORN mouse.

After disconnecting, you will see a message saying ‘Please Connect Your Gaming Device.’ This will go away after you plug in your mouse.

STEP 4

With the mouse in wired mode, re-enter the software and select the ‘Setting’ tab

STEP 5

Select ‘Check Update’ for Mouse Firmware. The update will begin and a status bar will appear. Do not unplug your mouse during this time.

STEP 6

You will see the same messages about your device being updated as seen in STEP 2 through STEP 3. Wait for this to finish.

STEP 7

After the update completes, remove the cable from the mouse and plug in your dongle/wireless receiver. Your mouse and receiver will be on the latest firmware version and is ready to use.
