Make sure not to roll the mouse pad on the inside, as this might lead to the creasing effect (please see the photos below):

The effect could look like a very subtle version, as if you tried to roll cardboard:

We suggest you to always roll it with the rubber surface on the inside: 

Misuse will void your warranty coverage.

We would strongly advise against washing machines to clean it. Hand-washing is by far the best, and the washing instructions are the same for all gaming brands:

• Fill tub with warm water and hand/dish soap
• Using a soft cloth or soft side of a sponge, rub the surface of the mouse pad lightly in a circular motion
• Rinse the mouse pad with clean warm water
• Pat the mouse pad dry
• Let the mouse pad air-dry (keep out of the sun) for at least 12 hours (24 hours is even better!)
