If you are having issues with static sound, here is what you can try to do:

Right click on the Speaker icon and select Sounds.

Then, double-click on Speaker/Headphone and select Advanced.

In the drop-down menu, please choose 16 bit, 44100 Hz (CD quality) and uncheck "Allow applications to take exclusive control of this device" in Exclusive Mode and click Apply.

Then, on the initial window go to Communications tab and select the second option and confirm:

If this doesn't solve the static noise, please go to your Device Manager/Sound, video and game controllers and right click on your Sound driver and click on "Update driver".

Also, these 2 settings must be enabled:

*Microphone access for this device

*Allow apps to access your microphone

These settings can be found under Settings -> Privacy -> Microphone (left side)

You can also press Windows key + R and type in ms-settings: privacy - microphone to reach that setting.

This should help fix your noise issues.
